KINGSTON, Jamaica - Runner-up finishes by Danielle Williams and Sasahalee Forbes were the best placings by Jamaicans at Sunday's 116th Millrose Games held at the Armory in New York.

Williams, the two-time World Athletics Championships gold medallist, ran 7.79 seconds behind Devynne Charlton of the Bahamas who won in a World Record 7.67 seconds, beating the 7.68 seconds set in February 2008 by Susanna Kallur of Sweden.

Charlton's previous best was 7.75 seconds set in January.

Ackera Nugent was fourth with 7.80 seconds and Megan Tapper who ran a personal best 7.98 seconds was seventh.

Forbes clocked 7.14 seconds in the women's 60m beaten to the tape by St Lucia's Julien Alfred who ran a world leading and season's best 6.99 seconds.

Briana Williams was fourth in 7.25 seconds. Ackeem Blake was third in the men's 60m in 6.55 seconds, just ahead of Ryiem Forde- 6.60 seconds, while Shakur Williams was sixth with 6.61 seconds.

American Christian Coleman won with a season's best 6.51 seconds. Leah Anderson was third in the women's 300m in 37.40 seconds followed by Candice McLeod- 38.01 seconds while Damion Thomas was fifth in the men's 60m hurdles in 7.64 seconds, Orlando Bennett was seventh in 7.76 seconds and Giano Roberts eighth in 7.80 seconds.
