Kane Williamson continued his sensational run of form with another Test century that took him level with Steve Smith in the list of most hundreds in Test cricket. Williamson scored his 32nd ton in the ongoing second Test against South Africa at Seddon Park, Hamilton. Williamson reached the landmark century in 203 balls during New Zealand's chase of a 267-run target on Day 4.

The world number one batter now has three centuries in the series and seven in the last seven Tests. Williamson now sits alongside the Australian duo of Steve Smith and Steve Waugh with 32 centuries. He is now just one hundred away from equalling England legend Alastair Cook's record of 33 centuries.

Williamson reached his 32nd Test century in just 172 innings - the fewest innings to reach the mark in Test history, beating Steve Smith, who scored his 32nd Test century in last year's Ashes, reaching the landmark in 174 innings.

The Kiwis are cruising towards a comfortable victory in the second Test at Hamilton. The Williamson-led side won the first Test at Bay Oval by 281 runs. The Proteas scored 242 in the first innings after skipper Neil Brand had opted to bat first. Kiwis, in reply, were dismissed for 211 as the visitors took a 31-run lead. In the second innings, SA were bundled out for 231, giving NZ a target of 267. After early wickets of Tom Latham and Decvon Conway, Williamson steadied the ship for the home side and set them up for a comfortable win.
