HARARE - Ambitious Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Yadah FC, will on Thursday officially unveil former Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat, the club announced.
The ceremony is set to be held at the recently built Heart Stadium located at Yadah FC owner prophet Walter Magaya's hotel in Waterfalls, Harare.
Billiat who joined the Miracle Boys as a free agent after leaving Kaizer Chiefs due to unclear circumstances, signed a one year deal with an option to extend.
The former Warriors attacker who was heavily linked with giants Dynamos was reportedly signed for US$20 000.
He will become the highest paid player in the PSL as his salary is said to be US$3 500, a source close to the player told Nehanda Radio.
"He signed for US$20 000 and will get a monthly salary of US$3 500," said the source.
On top of the whooping sign on fee and a staggering monthly salary, the deal involves other benefits.
"Apart from the $20 000 sign on fee and $3 500 monthly salary, as part of the deal, Billiat will be given a flat and a car," added the source.
Billiat arrived in the country last week from South Africa to complete his deal with the 'cash-rich' Yadah FC.
Yadah who battled relegation last season and survived on the last day, will be hoping Billiat's experience will help their team perform better in the forthcoming 2024 campaign.
