Two "Israeli" soldiers killed, seven injured in north Gaza battles

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced Wednesday morning the deaths of two of its officers and the injury of seven others in battles north of the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the IOF said that Major Iftah Shahar, 25, a company commander in the Givati Brigade's Tzabar Battalion, from Moshav Paran was killed in north Gaza.
It added that Captain Itai Seif, 24 years old, a platoon commander in the Givati Brigade's Tzabar Battalion, from Yeruham - also killed in north Gaza battles.
The statement mentioned that seven fighters from the "Tzabar" battalion , Givati Brigade, were seriously injured in northern Gaza.
Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva announced receiving 36 wounded IOF soldiers, 13 of them in critical condition over the past 24 hours due to the ongoing battles, while yesterday it received 11 wounded, six of them in critical condition.
The hospital stated that it has received a total of 2,790 military personnel injured to varying degrees since the beginning of the war on Gaza last October.
The death toll of IOF soldiers has risen to 582 since Oct. 7, 2023, and 242 since the start of the ground invasion on October 27th.
Meanwhile, 2,981 IOF soldiers have been injured since the beginning of the "Israeli" aggression on Gaza, with 465 of them in critical condition, 791 in moderate condition, and 1,724 with minor injuries.
