Tai Tet land owners seek remedy over demarcation

Kota Kinabalu: Two Town Lease (TL) property owners in Taman Tai Tet are seeking the attention of the local authority over a demarcation issue impacting their properties.
"The encroachment of fences and the inaccurate position of a access road have resulted in our portion of the property being impacted," said lot owners John Wee and Duncan Yong in a joint media conference, Thursday.

"We bought our properties more than 20 years ago and it was only two years ago that we realised something was amiss with the size of our property when we compared it to our neighbours' which appeared larger despite having the same measurement," they said.
They hired a surveyor and discovered that a portion of their property had been encroached upon and made part of the road access.
