Durban club Golden Arrows saw enough. Abafana Bes'thende suffered an 11th straight loss last weekend.

Following the 1-0 loss to Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday, Arrows have appointed Steve Komphela. The 56-year coach makes his second return to the club. His previous spell with Arrows was between 2018 to 2020.

"Lamontville Golden Arrows Welcomes back Coach Steve Komphela, who is no stranger to the club, the values and culture of the club," the club said.

"We look forward to his knowledge and guidance as we seek to finish the season strong. Welcome back Steve," the note ended.

The Kokstad-born coach's latest move marks a remarkable 17th job as a coach.
