NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 8 - The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has joined hands with Standard Chartered Bank to enhance revenue mobilization through an improved compliance support framework.
The framework will prioritize data security and privacy, incorporating encryption, access controls, and data monitoring to safeguard sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access and breaches.
This collaboration aligns with KRA's customer-centric approach, focusing on tailoring service solutions to meet taxpayers' specific needs.
Both entities aim to explore technological advancements to enhance customer support and foster mutually beneficial collaboration.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank Kenya & East Africa, Kariuki Ngare, commended KRA's service support framework with the bank, adding that KRA was responsive to the unique compliance needs of the bank.
KRA has emphasized the importance of engaging with taxpayers and stakeholders to continually enhance its customer service and compliance support framework.
