KINGSTON, Jamaica - With five rounds contested in the Class 1 girls' 100m, Edwin Allen's Trezeguet Taylor and St Elizabeth Technical High's Habiba Harris emerged as the top qualifiers for Wednesday's semi-finals at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys' and Girls' Athletics Championship.

Taylor blazed to a time of 11.87, while Harris clocked 11.89 to win heats four and five, respectively.

Edwin Allen's Jounee Armstrong recorded a time of 11.93 seconds to win heat one ahead of Mickayla Gardener of Wolmer's Girls (11.96). Meanwhile, Hydel High's Alliah Baker clocked 11.94 to win heat two with Asharria Ulett of St Catherine High (12.34) following suit.

Caneila Hope of Camperdown High (11.98), Brittney McCormack of Bridgeport High (12.00) and Cedric Titus' Veronica Campbell (12.53) conclude the top qualifiers.
