KINGSTON, Jamaica - Holmwood Technical and St Jago High are the champions of the boys' and girls' sprint medley Open.

This was done at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys' and Girls' Athletics Championships on Saturday.

Holmwood won the boys' event in 3:26.62. They defeated Excelsior High (3:28.00) and Kingston College (3:28.33).

It was a brave run from St Jago to win the girls' equivalent of the event in 4:03.20. Hydel High held on for silver in 4:06.34 while Holmwood Technical finished third in 4:06.56.
