Man Sentenced to 13 Years for Defiling 13-Year-Old Stepdaughter in Nanyuki

NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 26- A man has been sentenced to 13 years in prison by a Nanyuki court for defiling his 13-year-old stepdaughter.

According to the ODPP statement on Tuesday, the accused committed the offence between June 2023 and September 2023.

Prosecution Counsel Maina Kimaru presented five witnesses who testified against the accused.

It was revealed in court that the accused drugged the victim before committing the act.

Senior Principal Magistrate Ben Mararo stated that the prosecution had proven the case beyond reasonable doubt, finding the accused guilty as charged.
