Tusker left back Levin Odhiambo joins Gor Mahia as a free agent

NAIROBI, Kenya, Apr 2 - Tusker FC left back Levin Odhiambo has joined record FKF Premier League champions Gor Mahia as a free agent, upon the expiry of his contract with the brewers.

Odhiambo's contract with Tusker lapsed on March 31, and on Monday, signed a contract with Gor Mahia.

K'Ogalo had wanted to sign the former Wazito FC and Mathare United man in mid-season, but Tusker held on to him, hoping to lure him into a new contract. However, Odhiambo declined an extension of his spell at Ruaraka, as he chose a dream move to Gor.

He had been a key figure for Tusker, especially playing as an offensive winger, but had fallen down the pecking order in recent matches due to his mid-season ambition to leave the club.

His addition at Gor reunites him with Rooney Onyango, who was his teammate during Wazito FC's high days.
