Connacht coach - and brother of the Leinster and Ireland great - is relishing being involved in professional rugby and Challenge Cup date in Treviso
The main reason that Connacht are contesting a Challenge Cup quarter-final in Treviso today is the quality of their attack in Pau last week, when they scored six tries in a 70-point thriller. Probably the best of those was the last, given that it featured high accuracy of skill execution when the result of the game was still in the balance.
There were two minutes on the clock when Connacht had a scrum on their own 22. With a three-point lead, the easy option was to hoof the ball long and hope to defend like demons. Instead they chose to play. Five slick phases later, Tom Farrell and JJ Hanrahan combined spectacularly to send Cian Prendergast in at the right corner.
