Viral claim son repeatedly slapped by teacher

TAWAU: A mother's Facebook post claiming her son was slapped on the face to the point of leaving a handprint by a disciplinary teacher at a primary school here went viral on Friday (pic).
As of 3pm, the post garnered 541 comments and reactions, and was shared by 489 people.

The woman asked her Facebook friends for their opinions on whether a child should be slapped repeatedly until the ears turn red and swollen over a small matter.
The woman also included a picture of her son's red cheek with finger marks believed due to slapping, saying she could accept the punishment if it was due to unfinished schoolwork.
