KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Seven of eight motor vehicles which were stolen from a car dealership on Hagley Park Road in St Andrew have been recovered by the police.
The vehicles were reportedly stolen between 8:30 Monday night and 8:00 Tuesday morning. They were valued at more than $17 million.
The stolen vehicles included: two Toyota Voxys, a Honda Stepwagon, a Nissan Serenam, a Honda Accord, a Toyota Vitz, a Honda Grace, and a Kia Sportage.
Reports are that culprits broke into the office of the car dealership and removed $58,000 in cash, three laptops, three phones and two desktop monitors.
They then took the keys to the vehicles, which they stole from the property.
Police reported that two of the stolen vehicles were recovered in Portmore, St Catherine, two in Harbour View, two on Mountain View Avenue and one on Olympic Way.
Reports indicated that all the vehicles were equipped with tracking devices. The Honda Accord has not been recovered.
