Power Learn Project unveils new board of trustees

NAIROBI, Kenya, April 23 - Pan-African social impact organization Power Learn Project has unveiled its new Board of Trustees.
The new formation is now led by Nadia Ahmed Abdalla and includes Belva Digital CEO Serah Katusya, Martin Ndlovu (Chief Growth Officer of Gebeya), Anthony Muiyuro, and Wakiuru Njuguna of HEVA Fund.
The organization says the team embodies its dynamic and forward-thinking spirit and will guide the organization towards ambitious goals, including impacting the lives of 15,000 individuals through tech scholarships in 2024.
"It's certainly refreshing to welcome our new board of trustees, and we look forward to the transformative potential ahead," said PLP Governing Council chair Sasaki Kenji.
"Africa is a vibrant hub of tech innovation, and PLP is committed to empowering the next generation of developers equipped to tackle Africa's most pressing challenges from climate change, food security, healthcare, and financial inclusion," Kenji added.
The new PLP board leader, Abdalla, expressed her confidence in the future of the organization, pledging to steer it to higher heights.
