Gas prices up $2.76, $2.74, diesel up $0.15 - Jamaica Observer

KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, May 2, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
After an increase of $2.76, 90-octane will be sold for $185.24 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $178.94 per litre, also up by $2.74.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $177.93 per litre after an increase of $0.15 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $184.15 per litre up by $0.03.
Kerosene decreased by $0.19 and will be sold for $178.14 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $67.95 per litre down by 77 cents and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $75.23 per litre after a decrease of 54 cents.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
