MANILA, Philippines -- TNT's Filipino-American big man Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament, decimating the team's frontcourt further.

The Tropang Giga's team manager Jojo Lastimosa confirmed the team's latest setback following the release of the MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) result of the 29-year-old Ganuelas-Rosser on Monday.

The Season 47 top rookie overall pick suffered a bad fall following a collision with Rain or Shine guard Andrei Caracut in the 3:54 mark of the opening quarter during Sunday's Game 2 of their PBA Philippine Cup best-of-three quarterfinal series at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

The TNT slot man was left grimacing in pain while holding on to his left knee. While he managed to later, get up and shoot free throws, he had to be helped back to the bench as Kelly Williams subbed him out.

Ganuelas-Rosser, acquired by the Tropang Giga in a three-team trade prior to the start of the Philippine Cup, joins veteran slot man Poy Erram at the injured bay.

The 6-foot-7 Erram is still recovering from knee injury since undergoing surgery last year.

The Tropang Giga fell, 121-113 to the Elasto Painters in Game 2, sending the series to a do-or-die game on Wednesday, with the winner advancing to the best-of-five semifinal series.
