Nurul gets a second chance at crown

Kota Kinabalu: Nurul Yanadido was crowned the winner of the City Hall Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan competition held at Imago shopping mall, here, on Saturday.
She took home RM12,000, a crown, and a trophy.

This is the second time Nurul has qualified to advance to Hongkod Koisaan KDCA for the state-level Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan pageant.
In 2019, she represented Kota Marudu and created a buzz on social media when she was reported to have brought her baptism certificate to prove that she is not a Muslim during the State-level registration.

Meanwhile, in second and third places were Jovita Claire Joseph who will represent KDCA Tg Aru and Locebeth Linsing (KDCA Bandaraya), respectively.
The first runner-up won RM8,000, and the third spot winner received RM6,000.
