RANAU: The community in Paginatan here can benefit from a variety of government aid schemes through the Sabah Fisheries and Fishermen Development Corporation (Ko-Nelayan), said its Chairman Kong Soon Choi.

Fishermen, aquaculture and downstream operators responded positively to a programme organised by Ko-Nelayan under the Sabah Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry (Maffi) on May 29.

Kong said he wanted the local community in Ranau, especially in Paginatan-Paus here, to increase their knowledge of fish farming and to learn about the government assistance scheme offered and provided by Ko-Nelayan.
