Bangchak Wins Six Awards at Asian Excellence 2024

Representing Bangchak Corporation were Phatpuree Chinkulkitnivat, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of Accounting and Finance, and Gloyta Nathalang, Acting Senior Executive Vice President of Sustainability Management and Corporate Communication, who accepted the awards.

Bangchak received three individual awards. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, was honoured as Asia's Best CEO for his leadership excellence and vision in driving organisational success and delivering outstanding performance for the ninth consecutive year. Phatpuree Chinkulkitnivat was recognised as Asia's Best CFO for her excellence in financial management, transparent disclosure of information, and equitable treatment of investors and all stakeholders. Additionally, Tipwadee Sudwayha, Manager of the Investor Relations Division, was awarded Best Investor Relations Professional for her outstanding performance in investor relations.

Bangchak also received three corporate awards: Best Investor Relations Company Award for outstanding investor relations, Best Corporate Communications Award acknowledging excellence in corporate communications, and Sustainable Asia Award 2024, awarded for the first time this year to companies in Asia demonstrating dedication and efficiency in integrating sustainability into their business operations. Evaluation criteria align with the sustainability framework and emphasise transparency, responsibility, and the effectiveness of sustainability operations.

The 14th Asian Excellence Award and Sustainable Asia Award were organised by Corporate Governance Asia magazine. The awards evaluate information from organisations alongside survey results from investors, analysts, and qualified individuals across Asia to recognise individuals or organisations demonstrating sustainable business practices and good corporate governance, as well as responsibility for communities, society, and the environment at an exemplary level.
