Double joy as Sze Fei-Izzuddin and Man-Tee make it to Indonesian Open quarters

PETALING JAYA: Men's doubles shuttler Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani and Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun made it a double joy when both pairs reached the Indonesian Open quarter-finals.
World No. 13 Sze Fei-Izzuddin came back from a game down to beat Indonesia's Leo Rolly-Daniel Marthin 16-21, 21-16, 21-12 in 59 minutes at Istora Senayan on Thursday (June 6).
They continued their winning ways against the 14th ranked pairs, having previously beaten them at the 2022 Swiss Open.
In the quarter-finals on Friday, Sze Fei-Izzuddin will face the winners of the match between Indonesia's Mohammad Ahsan-Hendra Setiawan and China's Liang Weikang-Wang Chang.
Wei Chong-Kai Wun were equally on fire as they defeated Rasmus Kjaer-Frederik Sogaard of Denmark 21-18, 19-21, 21-12 to earn their place in the last eight.
The duo will now take on Taiwanese pair Lu Ching-Yao-Yang Po-han for a place in the semi-finals.
