NZ vs AFG: The T20 World Cup 2024 is peaking for sure. On Saturday, Afghanistan cricket team scripted history as they defeated New Zealand for the first time in their T20I history. Opening the innings for Afghanistan, Rahmanullah Gurbaz smashed an excellent 80 off just 56 deliveries as the Asian side managed to post 159/6 in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, the Kiwis were bundled out for a mere 75/10.

"I think, nothing special than the win. The wicket was not easy, the total that we got was good. A bit frustrated because couldn't end the way I wanted to. The total in our mind was 140-160. Credit to Farooqi and Rashid the way they bowled, said Gurbaz.
