DUBLIN -- Beverly JoAnn "BoAnn" Morris, 88, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
Beverly was born Beverly JoAnn Rush in Warren. She grew up in the Johnston area with loving, protective older brothers and an inseparable circle of sisters, the five Rush girls. She spent several years guided by the love of her brother, Paul and his wife, Olga.
Beverly married her lifelong love, Donald Morris in 1956, and they raised five children together on the west side of Warren. They moved from Warren to Jackson, Tennessee in 1989, and eventually back to Ohio where they settled in Dublin, near their youngest daughter and her family.
For many years, Beverly worked at Packard Electric assembling harnesses for GM cars. She changed paths and returned to school in the mid-70s, earning an accounting degree from Kent State in 1977. In later years, Beverly became an avid Mahjong player and looked forward to playing Mahjong with her friends who rotated hosting duties.
Beverly was affectionately called by many names, Bev, Bo, Bo-Anne, Babe, Hon, Mom, Mama, Aunt Bo, Grandma, Grandma-Bo, G-Ma and GiGi. Beverly's family was everything to her and she loved being called by every one of these names. Beverly's passion was family, beginning with her beloved sisters and brothers, to Donnie, her devoted husband of almost six decades, and the family they created together. Beverly loved sharing stories of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and could not have been prouder of every one of them.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Bessie Rush; her five brothers, Raymond, Paul, Robert, Jack and Edward; and three sisters, Lois, Geraldine "Geri" and Betty Jane.
Beverly is survived by her sister, Peg; her five children, sons, David (Kathy, deceased) and Jeff (Stephanie), and daughters, Linda (Mike), Pamela and Amy (Russell). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren: Matthew, Emily, Jeffrey, Ashlee, David, Mandy, Jessica, Rachel, Jacob and Carson. Beverly was delighted by her great-grandchildren, Landon, Liam, Easton, Samantha, Corinne, Klynn, River, Fisher, Braeden and Harlee. Aunt "Bo" adored her many nieces and nephews. Each and every one she loved like they were her own kids.
A viewing will be held at 11 a.m., followed by a service and interment at noon Saturday, June 15, 2024, in the Chapel at Crown Hill Burial Park, 3966 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, OH 44473.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital was a charity near and dear to Beverly's heart.
