Nurse killed in Ilocos Sur motorcycle accident

CANDON CITY, Ilocos Sur - A 38-year-old nurse was killed in a motorcycle accident on the bypass road in Barangay Parioc 1st, this city, before dawn on Sunday, June 16.

Police identified the victim as Jay Lord Briones, a resident of Barangay Bagani Campo, Candon City.

Investigation said the victim lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a concrete and steel barrier and slid down for 20 meters.

The victim sustained serious injuries and was declared dead in a hospital.

Police reminded motorists to be careful while driving on the bypass road to avoid accidents.
